How do I decrease scooter vibration during idling?

My mirrors shake while idling due to scooter vibration. Any way to stop this? (2013 Buddy 170i)

Thanks. Is it normal for the mirrors to vibrate during idling to the point that it is hard to see cars approaching?

It's normal. Engines cannot be perfectly balanced to where there is no vibration. This is especially true on a single cylinder engine. In certain RPM ranges the vibration is more pronounced. Although it is annoying, it would be preferred to have vibration at idle rather than under load at high RPM.
Also, the mirrors are at the ends of long, thin sticks. That amplifies vibrations.
Holding the rear brake sends vibrations into the rear wheel an tire which dissipates some of the vibration.

In my personal experience, the vibration is worse if your valves need to be adjusted.

I picked up a mirror for $6 from walmart yesterday. Gonna install today just to see if it shakes less.

Lots of bikes shake pretty bad at idle and smooth out once you move. You should try a kitted 2T stella some time
