cleaning the hooligans air filter?

Post by theemptythrone »

The hooligan has a paper filter.
The manual isn't verry clear on what how to clean it. It just says "if dirty clean or replace"
I have k&n paper air filter cleaning fluid would it be ok to use this, or should i just blow it out with the aim compressor?

I just replace mine. How long have you had your scooter? I have 16k on my Buddy and have only replaced mine twice. The old ones were not that dirty when I replaced them.

You either blow the dirt off with compressed air, or install a new one.

I generally replace them on an average every 6-8K during the big belt and roller service, depending on riding conditions of course.
