I'm going to be using the Soft Loop straps to secure the handle bars, but was wondering what the best method would be for securing the rear part of the buddy.
Should I loop through the passenger grab bar?
Should I just take one strap and come over the top of the seat?
Should I tell a friend just to sit on the scooter while I drive down the freeway just to be safe? jk

Good tip! I'm not too worried about the grips that are on there now. I plan on tearing this down completely and giving it a custom paint job along with some new hardware (including grips). But once I get it looking pretty, I'm sure the Canyon Dancer 2 will come in handy!
A strap around the rear wheel is all you'd really need; something to keep the rear from bouncing out. If you tie down at the grab bar don't cinch down too tight, they are not designed to hold much weight.
And speaking of cinching down, don't compress the front too much either. About half the shock travel is plenty. Cinch too tight and you can damage the handlebars.
