Turn signals not working! help!

I bought my 2007 125cc of cl and got ripped off. The front end seizes up, but I first want to tackle the issue with the turn signals, front and back will not work. Any advice on how to fix this would be great. Is there a fuse boxe somewhere? Or is ther just the one fuse by the battery?

Let me ask a couple of questions, just for clarity. When you say the "front end is siezed up", do you truly mean that the engine is locked up and will not turn, either by the electric starter or kick starter? Or when you say "front end", do you really mean the front wheel won't turn?

Secondly, the turn signals need good power to work. They run off the battery, so either the battery needs to have a good charge on it or the engine must be delivering enough DC to the battery to have some to spare, so to speak, for the turn signals. Is the battery fully-charged, capable of starting the engine? If you're unsure, connect a good car battery to the scoot battery with jumper cables. Minimally, this will ensure that you have a good 12+ DCV. With the ignition switch on (and the kill switch on the right grip, just to be sure), check the turn signals and/or the emergency flashers (also on the right grip). If still no joy, check the inline fuse in the battery compartment.

The front tire is having a hard time rotating due to friction. I can only get the thing up to 15 mph. In the accident it was in, the right brake lever was bent out of shape. Could my brake just need adjustment? The shop dealer tried to sell me new calipers and a new disc on a bike that has only seen 900 miles so I declined so I can try and fix it myself.

Well, I haven't torn down the Buddy front brake system, but if the lever got pranged in an accident, the thing could have got overpressured or some such. At this point, it would probably be prudent to unbolt the caliper from the fork and make sure the wheel and disc turn true. If they do, with no wobbles or bearing drag, then perhaps you could 'reset' the brake calipers by opening the system (reservoir), pushing the pad/piston back into the caliper with a clamp, then reinstalling the caliper and re-bleeding the system to get it set properly. Hopefully someone with more recent experience (mine is on older bikes) can jump in.

Dude, If the shop tried to sell you parts and labor, I would go with the expertise of your local scooter shop rather then taking it on yourself, or especially on a buddy forum braj. Scooter shops are not trying to rip you off their trying to fix your problem however there are no cheap shortcuts my friend. GO to the dealer let them work their magic, pay them what it takes and move on... Mechanics and shop owners got diapers to change and kids to feed my man!

Turns out my relay switch was busted. I replaced it and the back lights worked. I need to clean the contacts and my front blinkers started working again as well.
