Getting extra key made for buddy

Post by ucandoit »

Have only a single key to my Buddy (bought used) and would like an extra made. No luck with the locksmiths I've tried. Any suggestions as to who would sell a PGO blank that fits a Buddy 125?

I bought PGO blanks from ScooterWorks and the guy at Ace cut 'em. No problem.

Y'know, I've occasionally wondered .....

Is it possible to remove the black plastic "handle" and still have the key attach to a key ring? That thick knobby bit makes my key ring pretty lumpy in my pocket, and I'd kinda prefer to have just a flat metal slab (like the rest of the keys on my ring). But I'm afraid to cut into it and then find out that the the metal doesn't go all the way around the key-chain hole, leaving me stuck with a flat key that I can't attach to anything.

Anyone know? Or have an X-ray machine handy to check?
