Rattler 110 speedo pick-up wrecked by lock

Post by johnyrrr »

Hi all, just brought home a new to me a 2009 rattler 110 with 560 miles last night. Previous owner tried locking the front wheel and forgot about lock and started moving, which destroyed the speedo assmebly at the front axle. I need a whole new set up as its shredded, any ideas as to where I can pick this up? It must have pulled the cable all the way up to the LCD set up as the dash goes blank randomly and doesnt work most times. so I have to find out whats wrong with that as well. other than that it is alot more fun than my wifes zuma.

I know a lot of people like to go to http://www.scooterloungeonline.com/ for their Genuine parts if you want to find it online.

That said, be sure to check with your local Genuine Dealer and support your local business if you can!

Yup, Scooterloungeonline is great. I've gotten several things from them. Give them a ring. They have always been helpful to me.

Does anyone know if you can just swap out the cable? That would seem logical, since they can wear.

Hmmm, I'm not familiar with the shops in the SE part of the state. But if you're ever in need of service out here in the wilderness beyond Lansing there are at least a couple good Genuine dealers. :)
