We bought our first scooter this year and for our intended purpose we decided a Buddy 50 or a Roughhouse 50 would work. We were not concerned about the color and we ended up with a Little Buddy Italia. Am I correct in thinking that the only difference between the Buddy 50 and the Buddy little internationals are the two tone paint and white wall tires? Just curious.

Yeah, for the 50s, that's it. Before 2009, the Internationals were available as 125s, then the 2009s were 150s, then they were discontinued.

No mechanical differences, just body panels and wheel colors, as far as I know.

The 170i is available as the Italia, Pamplona, or Brit as well.

The Internationals began as a kind of premium version of the 4-stroke Buddy, then someone suggested that they offer the same style upgrades for the Buddy 50, and the Little International was born. So yeah, it's a Buddy 50 that looks cooler. :)

Thank you

Thank you for the replies. I thought it was just cosmetic but I figured if I own one I should at least know what it is :D
