My wife and I purchased Buddy 150's at the same time last month. My scooter consistently makes a high pitch noise whenever I go over 40 MPH and accelerate (never when I'm coasting and never below 30 mph). On the stand it sounds essentially the same. My wife's Buddy never makes the noise under any conditions. I have 340 miles on my scooter and it has been this way since day one.
The dealer stated that they couldn't find anything wrong with the engine. Is this normal for a Buddy engine?
