Dellorto 1438 PHVA install. Buddy 50

As with everything not factory. There have been a few problems so far.
1) The bowl drain is on the bottom and contacts the case, I just cut half the nipple off and not running a hose. I don't plan on doing winter drains anyway, if I do it will just be a bit of a mess.
2) the air box snorkel and dust cover do not clear the carb. removed the dust cover and cut a bit off the end of the snorkel.
3) the cable end goes into the carb fine but, the cap on the new carb is straight and short, the factory carb is long and angled. I don't know what to do with that yet.
Current jets installed. 38 pilot 95 main. (out of the box the 1438 has a 35 pilot and 90 main) The main jet is not OE so, it might be closer to a 92-93 OE Dellorto. I was running a 88 jet in the factory sized carb, which I believe is a 15mm?
