Virtually all the bikes you have seriously looked at have been older ones in rough condition. Unless you have the skills and the tools to do your own work, stay away from bikes that have condition and mechanical issues. That means a newer bike in better shape - or a new one. I don't, however, understand this proposed jump in focus from an old scooter to a new Harley. First thing to sort out is what you are trying to do.
