I have my eye on a Honda Shadow Phantom.

Halloween Night I would go to this party and pick up whatever bike it is that Confederate is going to wrap around this package. I'm really smitten by the elegant way that frame is integrated with the motor. If money were no object, I'd order the bike sight unseen.

If money were no object I'd have a fleet of fully restored Cushmans (and probably a fugi Rabbit), I love those scooters and nothing like them is currently on the market. Someday (read, when I have a garage) I'll buy one and have it restored but that day is looking a whole lot like never from here in the present

I still think my Buddy is top notch... since my wife has one as well, the plan may be to sell 1, and get an MP3 250, don't need anything bigger. It'd be nice to go on long rides comfortably and maybe spread our wings out a little bit more. I have no reservations about being on the back with her driving. I still love how nimble that Buddy is through city traffic and parking it wherever I want. But most likely be an MP3 next year.

I tend to be one of those people who is grateful for what I have in all areas of life....that said if someone put a gun to my head I would love a small frame vespa with free mechanic services since the only thing I can do it put gas in the tank and air in tires. I also would like the prototype Genuine cruiser 300....

Which Motorcycle/Scooter would you buy
If I had the money I would trade my Buddy for a Stella 4T for around town commuting and trips up to about 100 miles.
For long range comfortable touring riding two up (wife and I ) it would be a BMW 1200 RT.
Since I can only afford one though; I am considering selling my two scoots for a T-Max or Burgman so I can have a motorcycle and scooter merged into one.

If money were no object, I'd have something custom built to fit my tiny size. I'm not sure what body style I'd like, maybe something along the lines of a classic Vespa (but with modern reliability). It would need to have a larger engine, not a 50cc like all of the smaller frame production bikes have. That being said, I really like my Buddy. I just wish it had a lower seat height.

*edit* If we're talking multiples, then a Ducati Hypermotard 796 as no.2, rounded out with some kind of hack. The Ural "Red October" edition looks really nice.
Honda shadow Phantom is also not a bad choice, by the way.

Hmmm, don't know if I have enough knowledge to make that choice properly. That said, last fall and this spring I have been test riding many larger (than my 125) scooters and motorcycles. I want a larger bike for more comfort on longer rides and 2 up riding. BMW 1200RS, Harley big and loud, Ninja 250, Burgman 650, Majesty 400 and so forth. Of all the rides i did my favorite for seating position handling and general fun was the Yamaha Tmax.

If I won the BIG lottery this would be finding it's way to my garage. A 2010 Indian Chief Bomber.
But it would have other friends - MP3 500, Vespa P200 and we can't for get the Ural Red October:

BMW F 800 GS. Less weight than the 1200 GS bikes, a little less power, yet still enough bike to get me into and out of trouble.
And if money were no object, I'd have all the time in the world to fully enjoy it and all the places off the beaten trails it could take me.
Otherwise, I'm quite happy with what I have now... which is good!

Since money's no object, I need a bunch. There are others I'd buy to "collect" in my personal museum but I'd ride the hell out of any of these.

As a proud Triumph owner, I'm happy to see all the Triumph mentions here. I guess if money were no object (which would also hopefully mean I don't have to work anymore), I'd get a nice project bike and start rebuilding from the ground up. Don't even know what I'd want it to look like, would just love to have the time to do it.

For something custom, I'd go to this guy:

... where I could get something made to my own taste.
Or something by this guy:

For something off-the-shelf:

Oh, I'd love to recreate this:

When i was young, like 10 years old, I lived on the west side of phx. I had my mom, my sisters, & my stepfather. Everything was cool on on our block, I was on my step daddys foot ball team (pop warner, but i was still walter payton). The living room rumbles & here comes our new neighbors...
They came in fast, like nothing i had ever seen, (that sounds dramatic but i was a young pup) bikes all over the place, harley central in no time flat. The new owner of the house came next door to greet my step dad (afro american) & insisted he come join the party.
Some of the nicest people i have ever known, they called them selves the dirty dozen.
I would literally make $ cleaning the bikes until i fogged up a guys spedometer.
My answer is his bike, i'll never forget it. Ape hangers, tank had two dice with the 6's on them covered in spider webs.. Best neighbors ever until the cops came, they called me pony boy, never knew what that meant until later. My blond hair
Or the new blur, lol

The Honda DN-01.
If I were able to fill out a stable, I'd also get a Blur 220, a Honda Ruckus with a bunch of custom kit, and probably some kind of touring bike; likely a Gold Wing, I'm partial to Honda since the local dealer has an amazing top-notch service department. Each bike has its uses. The DN-01 would be the one single bike that best covered all my existing uses AND gives me a chance to use cutting-edge technology. Too bad it's so ugly.

If money were no object, more than having tons of bikes/scooters I would like the time to be able to ride wherever I want, whenever I want, and to take a bunch of friends with me. Ride across North America, across Europe, across South America, across Asia, across everywhere... but make no mistake, there are a ton of bikes I would like.
I prefer vintage style bikes. I love old British bikes, Triumph, Norton, BSA... I've loved 'em ever since I was a little kid... and the new Triumph Thruxton is sweet... but right now I am so psyched to be getting a Royal Enfield like this in a month or two when they become available in CA:
For new scooters, I'd love to have a 4T Stella (cream or maybe black), and a Genuine Cruiser... as for old scooters: a Lambretta, or old Vespa, something I could have fun working on myself...
For my exotic scooter entry, I love these Heinkle Tourists. So quirky yet so gorgeous.
If I had all the money I'd ever need maybe I could just ride around the world with friends buying cool bikes and scooters Niiiiice...

If money were no object, I'd have the scooters I have now and use the money to build an amazing, weather-proof shop where I could work on them without having to fight off hoards of insects or haul them 15 miles out to my dad's shop.
And a Honda Shadow VT 750 because every now and again I'm in a hurry.

The first thing I would get is a garage to house them in.
.
Second is a Modern Vespa with a sidecar in that happy, sunny, yellow that they make that just makes me smile when I see it and then add pink, with orange highlights, custom flames on it (it sounds odd, but in my mind it looks cool-of course that could just be that it is cool in my world). I love the idea of being able to haul both kids around, take my dog (30# Rottie mix) places and so forth.
.
Third would be a lovely Vespa S in white with pink flames (understated-not over the top) with a matching leather jacket (I already have a white helmet).
.
Fourth would be an actual moped (one that is on Ohio's list) that my 15 year old son can ride now. It would have to be a cool looking green, but I doubt he would have any other requirements.
.
I would also get my third Cardo Scala Rider, but I would get myself the Q4 so both kids have them and I get the state of the art.
I would get all of my vehicles a mount for the GPS that I so very badly need, I am not sure what GPS, but it would be a MC one that is idiot proof-those are the two criteria.
And, I would get someone that has the time, patience, and know-how to figure out whatever gremlin has infected my poor Buddy so that it runs properly-every time-and is the reliable machine I know it can be.
