You shouldn't need to replace it already. Kick it and ride it around a whole bunch. That should charge it.

Mine was shot due to a faulty regulator, Sears Auto has a Die Hard of the correct size for about $30.

nah, it's dEAd. I've have the red blinky light on my battery tender jr for over a week now.
why did I unplug my battery tender Jr this winter? why!? because I got a high electricity bill  and I was sick of seeing that green light remind me I was sucking electrons just for a fully charged battery  . so I figure, I'll just unplug it and plug it back in...in a couple weeks or so.... :D ... cut to 3 months later :fp:

Just kick it. I rode my stella 3+ years with a dead battery. key on, neutral, fuel, choke, kick, run. not that hard.

I have a brand new stock stella battery if someone wants to buy it cheap. It's never been opened. Just need to add acid.

And while you have that cowl off, take that ugly plastic thing off your spare tire.

+1

Although you may want to find a bolt of the right size so your spare does not rattle.
