2 sheets - $60 each
it is designed to be done by the average person but it was not as easy as I hoped - but.... not that bad
all the videos on their website show it being applied to panels while the panels are on the cycle, atv, golf cart, whatever
I took my panels off because I wanted to wrap around the panels - not having the panels mounted to anything makes it a lot harder to deal with
I think having a 3rd person would have made it easier
I messed up the first piece I tried
it is pretty easy to re-position a piece as long as you haven't stretched it too much
I suggest a heat gun not a hairdryer (but I didnt try a hair dryer so maybe it would be ok)
the rattler was pretty difficult to do with all the shapes molded into the panels and the over all curves.
Doing something like an ATV would be a LOT easier
I really like the look - they also had a "wet look" blue pattern that I almost went with - they have lots of patterns.
I do want to say the guys at power sports wrap were really GREAT - there were lots of emails & a few calls
On a related note after I failed to put the first piece on satisfactorily I decided to rattle can it & use the kyrlon paint for plastic - small problem with that - on a Rattler, the silver is a plastic finish - the black is painted
The kyrlon looked crappy on the painted surface but ok on the plastic surface.

Just a FYI - the Stella fell through so I am sticking with my Rattler
Its not hard to do now that it has its new look - I didnt mind the black/silver look but I REALLY like the wrap look - its like a whole new scooter.
on a side note, at dealer stop #2 today, the owner wasnt very interested in a trade in...... until she saw it with the new wrap - then she really wanted & and told me so - she really liked the look (deal fell through for reasons unrelated to the Rattler)

Firstly your Rattler looks the kill and secondly I see its important to choose the right wrap.Just saying the Buddy with the camo looks like crap.I mean the 2 don't go together. If I thought I could do this wrapping and I could find a wrap,I'd do it.Great work SL!ScootLemont wrote:The wrap company just put photos of my scooter on their website

Thanks
Yeah... when I saw the buddy.... lets just say that wasn't a choice I would make - but hey... I assume there is someone out there that doesn't think my Rattler looks good.
I was more than a little nervous about the color switch as I did like the black & silver with red pin stripes that I had on my scoot
but I am glad I made the change.
I assume there is not another Rattler, anyplace, that looks like mine (yet)
