now that you have the ruck mastered you need to start a sick Buddy build

right now, the finances aren't there for it, but a GY6 Ruckus is definitely a must have for me soon, maybe within a year or two. I don't have the tools or garage resources to build my own living in a hi-rise apt. I can do some small mods in the firehouse, but just little 1 day jobs. I will definitely look you up when the time is right, maybe fly to Miami and ride it back to DC. Your bikes are sick.

I think if the engine goes out on my Rattler again, it's getting a GY6. Now that all the plastic is off, it shouldn't be much more difficult than a Ruckus build...

beautiful scoot! I'm always impressed with what lengths folks go to the build there custom bikes but building your own wheels set, that's impressive.

Hey Dorby, will a regular GY6 rear hub work on a Buddy? Our stock rims blow, but I know you've got a good selection of 10" rims. I wanna put 8-holes on my Buddy.

^happy new year just saw this. i believe the buddy rear axle is a different size. the gears and axle would have to get swapped out to generic gy6 to run the hubs
