Hey, so have you heard about the new sidecar? I posted these photos over in the Scooter Gallery, but I figured they would look pretty swank here.

And check out the write-up from the Philadelphia Scooters blog @ http://www.philadelphiascooters.blogspot.com/. Here's the photo from that site:

Man, that rocks. Any idea what the price is on that setup?

I love the sidecar, just wondering, is it a permanent installation or can it be easily removed and put back on?

I believe it's just 4 bolts.

It leaves the mounting bracket on the stella itself but the sidecar comes off.

They'll probably sell for $1899 just like the previous ones have. It's the same model just different color.

Thanks for the info Eazy, I personally think that the price is quite reasonable. :)

To a certain extent it is.

If you want something that screams for attention.

The problem is that you lose performance and handling with it.

I do want one for my dog though. He would love it.

Someone needs to put some wheels and a motor on the sidecar itself.Cool. What's that set-up run,I'd imagine about 5700.00 OTD?

I'd imagine with MSRP going up 100 dollars every year, the side car is atleast 2000 or 2100 plus tax OTD.

I asked this question to Larry, the owner of Philadelphia Scooters. He said the whole shebang will go for $6500. Just the sidecar? $2k, which includes dealer prep. As you can see, the thing arrives in several pieces inside that big ol' crate. Remember, the cost of living is just a TAD BIT higher out here on the East Coast.

Now, who's going to pry this out from under Sean? And if you do, when are you going to give me a ride?! :D

I remember when i went to my dealer back then, before they re arranged their layout, there was a red side car in the corner of the shop, next to a police man card board cut out. I forget what the police man said though, he had a caption...

Anyways, I wonder if those crazy modders will hook up a side car to their buddy's. I remember someone did it, but it slowed the bike down badly.
