I am just wondering, feeling a little unloved by the Genuine folks. I am ready to see what is out there is universal parts.

Just got back from SFSC- they are out of windshields! Barry said they'll certainly have some when I go back in two weeks for my service.
However, it's amazing how helpful he is! He's going to loan me a couple of "special" tools so I can complete some work on my Bajaj. He will definitely be getting all my business and recommendations

Yes, he said he wanted to either trim down the overly long mounting screws or get some shorter ones.brat wrote:Yep I am happy to deal with him. We installed my wind screen together. It was the first one dane at the shop. He got to work out the kinks and took pictures so the rest of the installs would go much faster.
He also mentioned having a long talk with Genuine about getting them to improve the topcases.

got a chrome rear rack!
got a chrome rear rack from
(world famous) www.motorsportscooters.com
and installed it already! very nice quality, sturdy!
maybe if a "phase 2" of buddy topcases is released, will get an ivory topcase to go with it. did a bungee test, first rack load pending future release. I wonder what the actual dimensions of the buddy topcase are...
and how they might compare to a givi 280 case...
