Tools
I can use some recommendations for metric torque wrench , impact wrench, sockets etc. Links would be really great (Amazon). I really dont know what I am looking at 100 % of the time I will be doing oil change, gear oil change and possibly belt change ( not likely bearings because I have no clue how to). Might do spark plug just to be on a safe side ( have toole for that, will find instructions).

This is a great torque wrench for the money. There is almost always a coupon in Sunday's paper for $9.00.

I like to use an 8" extension for the sparkplug socket. If you don't have experience, go real slow by hand using the 8" extension to line it up. Be sure not to cross thread the plug.

Get the following sockets:
10mm
12mm
14mm
17mm
Pick up a 3/8 ratchet, along with a couple of shorter extensions.
If you work on the clutch and variator, you'll need an 8mm socket as well.
Use the HF197 oil filter. It takes a 17mm socket, torque it to 12ftlbs.
Get a set of feeler gauges for spark plug and valve lash. Be sure the set includes. .65mm for plug and .08mm for valves.
This should get you started.
I believe you are better off making or buying a tool to mechanically hold the Variator and clutch bell. This way you can torque to spec. I made this out of scrap materials, and have been using it for 6 years now:

BTW: I wouldn't get a 1/2" drive, 150 ft/lb torque wrench for scooter work: that's much too high. A 3/8" drive, 10-80 ft/lb wrench is better suited for this kind of work.

What do I use? I have a 1/2" drive Craftsman that I bought almost four decades ago when I was rebuilding automotive engines, but I'll probably buy 1/4" and 3/8" drive Tekton's just to cover all my bases.

You don't need to buy all that expensive crap to put on an oil filter and a spark plug. You don't plan on tightening head bolts do you? Buy the $10.00 3/8 torque wrench and call it a day. Some people love shelling out their hard earned money for gadgets that get used once every 3 years. I'm not one of them.

Thank you all. I ordered Tecton torque wrench. I have metric sockets I bought some years ago. It does look like I should get HF197 oil filter DeeDee suggested for my Buddy 150cc vs the one I have sitting around that requires crazy tools no one sells any more.

I agree with using the HF197 with hex head, but you don't need a "crazy tool no one sells any more" to tighten or remove the HF183 filter with the slotted head. Most people use the side of a screw driver. But it is more awkward than the hex head.
