Interesting that it is a 125, from what I remember the reviews of the MP5 @ 250 people were saying it needed more engine to move around the bigger scooter.

I guess Piaggio is heading over to confiscate this wonder of engineering that looks nothing like MP3 :twisted:

A quick check of listed weights shows the Yamaha to be 200lbs lighter than the MP3, so a 125cc may not be tooooo bad.

No plans to bring it to the US for now.

Given that Piaggio hasn't imported new MP3s here for a few years now, I don't know that they'd try it, especially with a 125.

It's supposed to be much lighter than the MP3, FWIW, but… yeah.

I think I read somewhere that the leaning, turning assembly is much simpler than the MP3. That would explain the weight difference.

I would hope that they would increase the size of the engine to at least a 250cc or 300cc if it becomes a product for the U.S. market...
did anyone get the license plate number of the bus that just hit me?!?
