The Front and Rear Running light Package option #1 includes the same items from the Rear Running Light Package plus (1) Power Splitter that allows you to plug in two adapters into one power source and (1) Running Light Adapter to convert the front deadlights to running lights. **Due to varying state and local laws, the above adapters are intended for “off road” use only.**

An Optional ON/OFF Switch can be used on any of the above running light adapters. Mounting the switch requires drilling a 3/4" hole near the 12v accessory outlet (drill bit not included). $13.50 shipped

The LED Voltage Regulators protect your aftermarket LED bulbs from damage caused by overvoltage. The regulators clip into any of the above deadlight adapters. I recommend using LED bulbs in any of your running light locations. Doing so will greatly reduce the amount of strain on your charging system and prolong the life of your battery. LED bulbs are required when you are using two sets of bulbs (4 bulbs total) as running lights. $23.50 shipped

The plug n' play Brake Light Modulator flashes your brake lights before staying on. This helps to get the attention of drivers behind you. Only works on 2007 and up. $38.50 shipped.

Thanks Ethan.

I unfortunately have a few things going on in my life that are requiring my full attention. I am closing the business but Ethan will continue selling the products here on MB. He has complete knowledge and the experience to handle anything you can throw at him.

I thank you all for your kind words, product ideas and genuine kindness over the years. I will still be around here from time to time, but on a very limited basis. I am 100% confident in Ethan’s abilities and experience. You’re all in good hands.

Agreed. Seems you've gotten what you need out of the project, and it still looks like something I want to do at some point so I'm glad it will still be around!

I too have a question, Ethan.

I'd like to turn my rear blinkers into running lights as well as blinkers (probably for both of my Buddys), but wonder if I have "shot myself in the foot with my brake light modulator install: topic13226.html

Can you look at the above thread and determine if I installed it the same way you all install yours (if it even matters)?

Nothing is wrong with my brake light modulators, they work fine, but I'm just wondering if I can still do the rear running lights to blinkers conversion you sell (sold???).

And if it will work, what all do I need to buy? (ie adaptor, LEDs, regulator?)

Thanks!

It sometimes can take him a little bit of time to ship or reply. He's doing this on the side.

Blinker adapter

Post by toot »

I has used the Dead Light Adapter Kit on a Buddy 170i and now my new Blur. This is probably the easiest modification you can ever do. PLUS with this kit it really makes you visible to oncoming traffic. Highly recommend to anyone :D :D :D :D

Yep! Just waiting for one more paycheck before ordering for ours and the LED lights. My wife often has to work very early or late, so its peace of mind for me.

light kits from VSP

Post by scootdad »

So it appears that the light kits were still available as recently as late May. Are they still available?

I don't mean to seem impatient, but I am hoping to have the conversion done before too much good riding weather passes by.

Thanks!

Just installed the deadlight wiring. Outstanding quality, better than the factory wiring harness. Perfect fit. Thanks for an excellent product-
