Looks good with the matching wheels. And bigger size also. I know TR like to stick with the 10" wheels. I looked quick but what did you end up with for the rear shock. Composimo has the mount but the swingarm doesn't. Look sick so far, nice work.

Jesus gearhead, what's next a "Stellackus" ya might as well swap the whole genuine line-up into a ruckus.
That looks sweet though, like the orange wheels.
Isn't your "Buduckus" bigger than the stock blur engine though?

I was about to ask to see a photo of it finished, but then I remembered that it's half Ruckus: it's intended to look incomplete. :)

thanks for the kind comments guys! the buduckus went to talton (the guy at amerivespa with the red ruckus). I let him have my whole setup and with the money he gave me, i was able to build the blurkus. Although the buduckus is a 161cc, i like the blurs 13" wheels and will maybe bigboring the blur engine or might just drop the 220 engine in there :D

That looks pretty good! How's it handle in the Ruckus' frame? I think that's one instance where the shiny chrome Prima exhaust would look good.

I like the way the big wheels turned out, what size are the Blur wheels anyway? I'm trying to compare it to the 12" wheels I've got on my Buddy right now. :)

Surprisingly it handles great, almost to where i can drag my knees lol
It's probably because it's not so low like the buduckus i had.
Im thinking about getting some ultra low down forks so i can get that nice low look but then i'd be sacrificing handling on the twisty roads.

I've already got a yoshimura exhaust that my buddy is going to weld me a mounting bracket for it :D

thanks!

too bad a yoshimura will be replacing it

the wheels are both 13"

the front uses a 120/30-13 and the rear is a 130/30-13

Dude.

If I ever get my Blur back out of the shop we'll go riding and I'll get some pics of it in Austin action.

Wow! This thread came back from the dead after being dormant for a couple of months. Thanks dorby

Here is an update. I finally installed my low down forks, aluminum triple tree, and custom exhaust. I had to pay some coin for that aluminum triple tree which wasnt part of the plan but the front end feels so light and nimble now compared to when i was using the blur triple tree with the ruckus steering column welded to it

I will need to do a wire tuck on this thing and clean it up a bit

Im also running that AFR gauge utilizing the O2 sensor for better tuning 8)

diggin it. I like how in the last pic it still has the ruck headlights, I hate when all the custom rucks have that tiny bicycle-looking blue light. :?

Totally, I think the stock Ruck lights are kinda awesome :)

Wow you have to have a special scooter perspective and desire to do something like this. No matter what its impressive that it works at all. As a result has the total wheelbase been drastically extended longer then each individual scoot or is that just an illusion. If so does the stock shock and spring that have to deal with the extra wheelbase leverage at the pivot point work or did you have to install a custom oversize shock and spring?

Its quite an industrial looking head turner, congrats!

I"m diggin' the custom work...Nice!...What did the yosh pipe come from? and did the bike complain with it on there or was it a bolt-on? (doubt it )...

The pipe really sets it off, and the front end is looking GOOD now.

The front end didn't come off WHILE you were riding I hope, the end result looks WAY cool, like a naked sport bike but it's really a naked sport scooter. Awesome!
