you really gotta love dogs and thier ability to take an almost unlimited amount of crap from humans as long as they're being pet and given treats in return :D

My Jack Russell (see avatar pic) won't keep the doggles on, she likes the wind on her eyes.

She just rides in my backpack, nothing fancy. :)

I'll see if I can get a picture of her riding later; she loves to ride.

I've never been before, but we're going to the Resurgence rally in September.

The dog rides with us, so if you ever see a red buddy with a topcase, crashbars, and a dog in a backpack, that's me. 8)

Can pets ride, too?

Post by Rusty Shackleford »

Is there a way to carry a cat on a Buddy ride? I was thinking a clear backpack, but I'd be afraid the zipper wouldn't allow enough air in since it's made of plastic. Our cat loves our motorcycle gear and leads us to believe she may enjoy a ride. How can we pull off taking a cat out on the road? :?:

Just don't let the cat out of the bag.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

I am also brainstorming about taking our kittie scooter riding..The first cat was definately not into loud engine noises This new furball seems to like the scooter. He is about 14 lbs at this point (big kittie) so it is not going to be easy finding something he would be comfortable in and would not jump out of

That is why I am researching a Stella with sidecar setup. I know sometimes after all set up the pet does not what to scoot as much as the
person.

Too late for us: I have a Buddy. I did do some reading and it suggests that soft carriers may not be the safest and some pets are just too restless to be carried safely in backpacks

Um, here's an option for transporting pets. Or kids.
