Try a right-angle screwdriver or small vice grips if you don't want to do the shock thing. Some folks have replaced that screw with a bolt so they can remove it with a wrench.

I do have an avenue for a stock engine with about 600 miles on it.
Wouldn't mind a PX200, but not too easy to find anymore.

Got it today. Took about 10 min. to install. Wow, what a difference. It runs quieter and smoother and doesn't backfire anymore. A great, easy, cheap upgrade.
