TLDR: USE A 4-way Tire Iron (the one with 3 sockets and a huge tire bead blade like a big screwdriver) Worked perfectly to remove the Designed by Satan factory oil filter with the weird rounded flat slot at the end. The new filter I bought had a socket end on it like any other normal filter designed...

Well I fixed it.

I just don't know how I fixed it.

I messed around with the connectors under seat, etc. and I didn't think anything was loose or corroded but....

If you have an air compressor try shoving that in the open end and sealing as much of the leaking air in so it forces pressure outward.

Worked for me. Had a "duster" attachment with a skinny nozzle at work.

If you look at the forks on a 50 and 125 they appear to be different, so I would make absolutely sure the rims are interchangeable before buying them. Why exactly do you want the 125 rims on a 50? So I figured out how to remove it but it apparently is also a cosmetic cover for some brake light/turn signal wiring. I just think the mud flap is the ugliest part of the buddy and it just needs the tiny sticker on the back. I was thinking of cutting it down maybe just below the side reflector line....
