i like it! i also like that its a limited edition. same as black jack except with black wheels and tires and downgraded to a 125cc motor with an awesome transmission setup. dr pulley transmission kit?! and 9g variator weights?!

The last amount I paid the dealer was $425 in repairs. I was 19yrs old. Now I'm 22 and can rebuild the whole buddy motor. It takes time, but you will learn it all and won't have to rely on the dealer for easy fixes.

if your starter button is not working, the fuse in the battery compartment may be blown. also, if the scooter isn't starting without kicking and your battery is fine, it may be your stator that has gone out.

i use a stubby hand ratchet with a 21mm socket on the end of it and tighten it as much as possible with one hand on the stubby ratchet handle. At least it is tight but not over torqued since you dont have the leverage with a longer handled ratchet.

Just get the 8 pole stator, flywheel, and rectifier/regulator from the blur and install it into your buddy 125. I'm pretty sure it uses the same amount of wires and is a direct plug and play as long as you replace all 3. also, you might want to get the special flywheel remover tool to get that flywh...

You'll want to have your plug looking like a choolate color. The best way to do a plug chop is run the sscooter at wide open throttle and hit the kill switch while you have the throttle twisted all the way. Then coast to a stop and pull out the plug. I ride it like i stole it and perform the first oil change at 50-100 miles and you will see A LOT of metal particles in the oil.

so on the flywheel, where did you have the mark on the case line up with the flywheel? When i put mine together, i had the mark right at the tip of the arrow... is that where normal timing should be? lol i feel like my scooter should be faster

i would think if you advanced the cam 1 tooth it would be quick low end, but crappy high end.
