I did notice KYMCO has the AK listed. Read mixed reviews on it form overseas publications but nothing terrible. T-Max will always come up in those comparisons. I've always lusted after the T-Max but it got discontinued before I could pull the trigger.

I checked the head tube area for any damage and didn't "see" anything. It seems its the lower fork area around the tree. The front wheel spins free with no binding, the rotor is straight and the forks rebound without hanging up. Me personally, I would not ride it. But the owner doesn't see...

We get them from Ace Hardware or Taylors Do It Centers. The smaller independent hardware stores carry a better selection, and the nuts, bolts and washers are sold individually-not in bulk bags like LOWES or Home Depot.

I ran 10-40 cheap Wally World oil in my Buddy 125. Got 40,000 trouble free miles before selling the Buddy, and last I heard it's still running. So running 10-40 synthetic shouldn't be a issue.

The fees are why you should shop around and get written OTD prices. If you only have one local dealer for your choice than that can make it difficult. And I personally think they should have put the Trail 125 against the Monkey bike.

I'm gonna rename the trike kit a Pow-Tac so I don't upset anyone. Horrible quality. Bolts snap without warning and the mount point will destroy your upper rear panels. Wife had one. I ended up giving the Pow-Tac away for free because no one wanted it, but I eventually found a taker. Avoid this kit!

Around my area, the 2 main Genuine dealers only carry the 50cc range, and thats the Buddy 2-stroke and the Rough House 2-stroke. At the start of the year they may have one Buddy 125 and/or a 170cc at once its gone its all 50cc 2-strokes. Both dealers say they are good sellers and reliable.
